Crystal Carattini

Program Head Representative & Director of CORE X Street

Crystal studied Sociology at Sonoma State University where she discovered a passion for helping others find space to grow and heal, and that passion led her to Hope Cooperative in 2018 after several years working with teens and adolescents involved with social services or the justice system. Crystal started as a Residential Service Coordinator at Possibilities, playing a role in developing the program over it’s first year of funding and guiding Transition Age Youth experiencing homelessness in strengthening their independent living skills. Crystal went on to enhance her case management and client rehabilitation skills as a PSC for New Direction. Throughout her time in these programs, Crystal actively worked to develop the skills needed to become an impactful leader and achieve her goal of obtaining a management position within the agency. For the past year, Crystal has used her compassion, leadership and crisis intervention skills to lead the amazing team at the Crisis Respite Center. Crystal and her team at CRC work to stabilize individuals in crisis while addressing their basic need for a safe environment and emotional support so they are better positioned to explore their crisis with a solution-oriented mindset.
