
Dr. Felicia R. Haecker serves as the Board Secretary on Hope Cooperative’s Board of Directors, bringing a valuable perspective shaped by her experience in education, inclusion, and community engagement. Her expertise in leadership development and change management helps strengthen the organization’s ability to foster inclusive programs and empower individuals from diverse backgrounds.
In her professional life, Dr. Haecker is the Engagement and Inclusion Specialist at St. Francis Catholic High School. She is passionate about supporting Hope Cooperative because she believes in creating inclusive communities and empowering individuals. Her work with the organization is deeply meaningful as it aligns with her commitment to fostering authentic relationships and supporting underrepresented populations.
Dr. Haecker holds an Ed.D. in Organizational Leadership from Brandman University, a Master’s degree in Health and Human Services from the University of Oklahoma, and a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts from Excelsior University. Her dissertation, focused on the Postsecondary Education Experience of Female Student Veterans, has been cited by several experts in the field. She has been featured in various media outlets, including Good Day Sacramento, Fox 40, and Badassery Magazine, sharing her insights on life transitions and issues affecting the veteran community.
Dr. Haecker enjoys being a part of the Hope Cooperative team because she gets to see the impacts in her community firsthand. As a solution-oriented leader, it is important to Felicia that she is working to improve the community that she and her family live in and beyond. The most important part of this is that Felicia gets to model the servant leadership spirit that she and her husband strive to instill in their children.
Outside of her professional pursuits, Dr. Haecker enjoys reading, crafting, and cooking. She is married to Dr. Vincent Haecker, and they live near Sacramento with their two children, Haydyn (15) and Vinny (13). Her family is the driving force behind her joining Hope Cooperative.
