Karina joined Hope Cooperative in 2019 as an Executive Coordinator and quickly advanced to External Affairs Manager within a few months. Over the past five years, she has been responsible for the marketing, grant writing, and fundraising efforts at Hope Cooperative. Her expertise and dedication have secured millions of dollars in grants and successfully increased fundraising goals each year.
Before transitioning to the nonprofit sector, Karina spent eight years in event production in the Bay Area and Sacramento. In addition to her professional achievements, she served on the board of the nonprofit organization Stockton Lambs in San Joaquin County, holding positions such as Fundraising Chair, Secretary, Vice President, and President from 2014-2019. As her tenure with Stockton Lambs concluded, she decided to fully pursue her passion for the nonprofit sector.
Karina is currently working towards her CFRE certification and enjoys spending quality time with her family.
