Karina joined Hope Cooperative in 2019 as an Executive Coordinator and quickly advanced to External Affairs Manager within a few months. Over the past six years, she has been responsible for the marketing, grant writing, and fundraising efforts at Hope Cooperative. Her expertise and dedication have secured millions of dollars in grants and successfully increased fundraising goals each year.
Before transitioning to the nonprofit sector, Karina spent eight years in event production in the Bay Area and Sacramento. In addition to her professional achievements, she served on the board of the nonprofit organization Stockton Lambs in San Joaquin County from 2014-2019 and is currently serving on the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Board.
Karina is currently working towards her CFRE certification.
