Maria brings 19 years of experience in psychology and is passionate about making a difference as program director and licensed Marriage Family Therapist at Hope Cooperative. In this role, Maria have been to run an efficient program that helps individuals in an outpatient setting. Maria and the team assist clients in getting through the door and taking a rest at our Wellness Center or enrolling in outpatient services. In utilizing the OP clients can get psychiatric help, therapy, come to groups, get case management, find community resources and housing resources. CORE Howe Census for outpatient may reach up to 700 clients.
Before joining the team, Maria worked at La Familia Counseling Ctr where she worked with children and families struggling with mental health and often provided translation services in Spanish.
