Robert brings 24 of experience in social services focusing on mental health and alcohol and drug services and is passionate about making a difference as Program Director at Hope Cooperative. In this role, Robert is currently responsible for the operation of the Homeless Outreach Program engaging with individuals who are currently experiencing homelessness within the city of Sacramento and referring clients into the Outreach and Engagement Center where we provide 75 individuals with a safe and clean environment on a nightly basis prior to a more permanent housing placement for our guest.
Before joining the team, Robert worked at El Hogar Community Mental Health services for 10 years, where they were instrumental with providing Robert with the training necessary in providing intensive mental health services to the adult population in Sacramento. Robert is also passionate with helping those who struggle with alcohol and drug addiction and is currently sitting on the Board of Directors at Grace House Sober Living Community.
Robert loves being part of the Hope Cooperative team because he enjoys empowering individuals to make positive changes in their lives as well as securing permeant housing.
