From Homeless to Homeowner: Tracey’s Story
On any given day driving along the Garden Highway in Sacramento, you can see tents lined up along the riverbank; the men and women, tarps, bicycles, and dogs huddled beneath the interstate as traffic whizzes by overhead.

Michael’s Story
Michael is an artist and dedicated social worker who has helped transform the lives of dozens of TLCS clients. He also used to be a client. Michael started his journey with us when he signed up for an outpatient care program (HRC) funded by Sacramento County.

Raine’s Story
For the majority of my life I was addicted to Meth and alcohol, basically self- medicating undiagnosed mental illness in a dangerous and destructive way. My story began in 2005 when I moved to Sacramento from San Francisco to go into drug and alcohol treatment.
